if you took a trait like "Order of the Inquisition 8pts/Class Level: Inquisition X"
on a class that other classes can be built off of like humanoids, would the trait increase as well giving you the increased benefits of the trait per level.
so like with the inquisition trait would you get the 1 ability increase with class lvl 1, 2 with class 2, 3 with class 3 ext..
yup just wanted to know if the increases stack, and looks like they do
In general when you get a class trait you are getting the trait as is. Applying this to a new class of a new level means that if you make a level 1 Inquisitor with the trait you would apply the 1 to the ability you choose as per the Inquisition X.
Making a new level 2 class off of the level 1 Inquisitor you would get the same bonus to the ability that you selected for the level1 and now you would get an additional 1 to apply. This would also be for the additional point cost. And So on.
In general when you make a new class the abilities that come with it have the same options you selected. In this case the ability allows for a new option for higher level classes which you would then select and add it to the ability.
and so on.
In the future you could eventually through gameplay when you have some progression or get a new class trait replace the trait Order of the Inquisition with itself and make completely different selections.
