I have been waiting for backers to get their books. We had a pre-order date several times, and even went live briefly, but when other COVID delays kept hitting it became impossible to have the store set up for pre-orders and make certain that backers for the Kickstarter and Backerkit received their books first.
Backers for the Kickstarter are necessary in my mind to get their products first. Its the backers that have made the entire project after all these years possible now and in the very near future when we launch the 2nd and 3rd Age.
So I apologize for the multiple delays in the online store. This also is affecting our distribution and focus on getting the books into gamestores. We are working on it, with our distributors in both the US and the UK and where ever they can reach. This will hopefully help in shipping our products as well.
Now that this is wrapping up though, I am about to open the store fully. The current plan and there seems to be nothing standing in the way, is to open on Monday. So tomorrow morning I will open the store up, with everything shipping both physical books and digital versions + templates and other items.
The store will open tomorrow around 8:00 am PDT. London is 8 hours ahead of this.
There will be a couple new items as well coming up on the digital store, including The Genesys Project Custom dice, Cone Templates, and in a week or so a new digital Campaign book called the Ruins of Tor Qi.
The Ruins of Tor Qi is a set of games that follow the storyline of a Netherlord Demon of Death being reborn and ties into the storyline of our pre-made factions. It includes some new campaign rules, including solo play and games up to 4 players. It will be digital only.
Soon there will be additional locations as well to pick up the books as distribution lines start to reopen and gaming stores become a thing again.
If you have a gaming store interested in carrying the book, they can always shoot me an email through this site. Our distributor can do the store verification and will be able to handle most of these transactions.
I see. I am interested in the solo play. So I will probably get that digital file. I do know of a store in town. They do most of their distribution through Diamond, but I will check.
Wow. I am definitely interested in the solo campaign. And I am a ducker for dice. Look forward to seeing the store tomorrow.
