I'm not enierly sure, but if I create, let's say a level 3 class, and I don't base it upon a already existing level 2 or 1 class, do I go trough every Level, receive additional stats (Wounds and Attacks) and choose traits and class options?
When creating a Lvl 3 class, do I start with three class traits, one for lvl 1, one for lvl 2 and one for lvl 3?
When creating a Lvl 3 class, can I choose to add an extra trait for +3 points (in the lvl 2 "stage") and an additional trait for +10 points (in the lvl 3 "stage")? Same for Characteristic Increases.
It kinda seems that way, because If I look at the example factions in the core book, Page 55, the Brynhild Class has 5 wounds and 6 attacks, that seems she got the additional attacks from lvl 2 and 3 and the additonal wounds from level 3.
There are two ways, one is to build off of another class, which carries with it the options etc, the other is to build it off the base faction. Going straight from the base faction doesn't allow you to pick up the extra abilities (like a quick level up type of thing).
You also should note that as you play games, there are additional mission awards that can get you additional traits and abilities. A couple of our playtesters always went that direction and planned on gaining additional traits to get everything they wanted into the class.
