Starting off, I'd just like to say this game has been revitalizing my interest in the war-gaming hobby. Looking forward to what the Second and Third ages have in store! Onto the Question.
So, here in the situation, I have a Fey-Hybrid Humanoid which has taken the Trait "Fire Powers" from the Fire Sphere of Influence to gain a first tier Power, in this case Flame Fists. Now the rules seem pretty clear cut that I draw my difficulty from my domain, but since I have no humanoid casting traits (like Wizard, Sorcerer, or Priest) do I just gain the ability to cast the power as a humanoid (Difficulty 8, Mortal Threshold 12) without the ability to channel?
Or is it that since my class is gaining it's powers from it's Fey lineage without the use of any casting trait, do they cast their spells as if they were fey? (Difficulty 6, no threshold and the ability to alter spells).

As an additional question since we are in the area, it states that Fey use their class level to channel, without any listed detriments for failing like in the humanoid section. Does this mean they essentially get a "worry free" Channel, adding their class level to the cast without fear of losing anything?
Thanks in advance!
