I'm trying to figure out what value to multiply for various advanced classes (if any)
Issue 1: Let's say you're creating a Twilight Fey Beast L5. None of the faction traits apply, so what you do you multiply?
Issue 2: If you have chose a 1st or 2nd tier trait that would transform your race into the devolutionary form, do you calculate the base value for multiplication by removing the bloodline traits? I was building a Class 3 greater dinosaur and wasn't sure if the multiplier was just the total of the racial lineage traits.
Issue 3: It looks like the Karthru'ak Empire either doesn't add the +1 Command from Saurien Cunning or that Reptilia should be Command 2 to start?
Issue 4: The Karthru'ak Empire uses another bloodline for Level 3 Classes. Is that legal even though the 1st edition book says "When you create a Rare Class, you must build it from your Base Species." I.e. does base mean you can use only lineage traits as a base and import a new bloodline?
Sure, thanks. I'm looking forward to the new later generation books (which I have on preorder).
Sorry for the slow response today. Got a little bogged down with the new books coming out.
Question 1: The Monster Traits you select are your new faction traits for the Monster, so multiply off of them.
Question 2: Yes. Remove them if they no longer apply to your class.
Question 3: I will add that to the Errata. They should have a Command 4
Question 4: Taking a different Bloodline (by selecting a trait from a different Bloodline) removes an existing Bloodline and any traits that were a part of or required the previous bloodline.
A class can do this effectively so that you may have a faction that does have two different groups within in: In this case a Troglodyte faction that is ruled by Draconics.
