I have some miniatures of Vikings here at home that have never been used, I bought them because I thought they were beautiful (from Victrix), with that in mind and because I love stories with Vikings and so on, I decided to make my first faction based on them (without spells and things like that), but I know that several other versions will appear here. I accept suggestions and criticisms about the faction, with quarantine it will be difficult to use for a while.
p.s.: I don't like the term fyrd, if you have another option, give to me, because I know it was used by the anglo-saxon, not by the northlanders.

Most excellent concept and follow through for Vikings. Like them a lot. The only consideration is on the Level 2 Classes making the hard choice between an extra wound and the Martial/Defense. Of course it will matter what armor you equip them with for the game. Toughness 5 is a pretty good.
I was really tempted to increase the berserk's wounds, but I also thought that I couldn't use the charcteristic increase option to increase the wounds, because it is in the category of other stats. Iin any case, I was under the impression that level 2 classes should automatically receive +1 to wounds. it's a big jump from level 1 to level 3, receiving +2 wounds. Ah!!! I think the huscarls should go to the table with shield and chain mail. that should make them pretty tough, right?

I was looking up other definitions for Fyrd and got this. Just thought I'd take a look for it online. Not sure if this will be correct.
I like looking things up to provide a sense of history, but remember you can also make it up a little and still have a great Viking Faction. Leidang would also work I think. Someone else that knows more of the time period better might be able to comment with more information.
that seems like a good option, James. thank you!
@Kirlian Silvestre glade I could help.
Now if I could just figure out how to flesh out my Faction.
